FAQ
What is PPF?
A protective film applied over vehicle paint to help protect against everyday damage: stone chips, road debris, minor scratches, environmental contaminants and UV exposure.
Is PPF better than a protection coating?
They do different jobs. PPF is a physical layer over the paint. A surface protection coating is designed for a particular surface and gives it properties such as gloss, hydrophobic performance, water repellency, stain resistance or easier cleaning, depending on the product. The two can be used together where they are compatible.
Can PPF be removed?
Yes. Professionally installed PPF can generally be removed, depending on the condition of the paint underneath.
Can PPF be installed on a new car?
Yes. New vehicles are ideal candidates for PPF.
Can a ceramic coating be applied over PPF?
Yes, provided the coating is compatible with the film.
Does PPF prevent stone chips?
PPF helps protect against stone chips and road debris, but no film can guarantee protection against every impact.

Are the surface protection coatings only for cars?
No. The range is designed for suitable paint, glass, fabric and metal surfaces and is not limited to the outside of a car. Depending on the product, the coatings can also be used on suitable vehicle interiors and other compatible objects and surfaces.
Can I protect more than one surface?
Yes. You can take a single coating or combine several — paint, glass, fabric and metal — according to what you need. You do not have to take all four.
